Website Privacy Policy
This covers valemistsoftware.com (the “Site”), run by Louis (“we”). Our apps are covered in the Apps Privacy section below.
What we collect
The Site doesn’t ask you for any personal information. Like any website, our host, Cloudflare, receives basic technical details when you visit: your IP address, browser and device type, the page that referred you, and which pages you view. We also use Cloudflare’s cookie-free analytics, which sends page-view details from your browser to Cloudflare. We use this information only to run and secure the Site and to see overall traffic statistics, such as page views and visitor counts. We don’t use it to identify you. (For visitors in the EU/UK: our legal basis is our legitimate interest in running a secure website.)
Cookies
We don’t use advertising or tracking cookies. Cloudflare may set a cookie to protect the Site from bots and abuse; it’s needed for security and isn’t used to track you. The Site also remembers your light/dark theme choice in your browser’s local storage. It never leaves your device.
If you email us, we use your address and message only to reply.
Sharing
We don’t sell or share your information. Cloudflare handles it on our behalf as our hosting provider. Links to app stores, Discord, and X take you to services with their own privacy policies.
How long we keep it
Cloudflare keeps request logs for a limited time for security. We keep emails only as long as needed to deal with your message.
Do Not Track
We don’t track visitors across other websites, so the Site works the same whether or not your browser sends a Do Not Track signal.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information, to object to how we use it, or to complain to your local data-protection authority. Email contact@valemistsoftware.com and we’ll help.
Children
The Site isn’t aimed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If we update this policy, we’ll change the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
Apps Privacy Policy
This covers all of our mobile and desktop apps (“Apps”). Not every App does everything described here. Each App’s store listing (Apple’s “App Privacy” and Google Play’s “Data safety”) shows exactly what that App collects.
What our Apps may collect
Depending on the App: account details (if it has accounts), device and technical information, usage and crash reports, purchase records, and your device’s advertising ID.
Ads
Some Apps show ads from third-party ad networks, such as Google AdMob. These networks may use your device's advertising ID, IP address, and device and usage information to show and measure ads, including personalized ads where allowed. To learn how Google uses this information, see How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services (https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites). Where the law requires it (for example, in the EU and UK), we ask for your consent before showing personalized ads, and you can change your choice in the App or in your device settings. In some US states, the law treats personalized ads as "selling" or "sharing" personal information. Where that applies, you can opt out in the App or in your device settings.
Purchases
Purchases and subscriptions go through Apple or Google. We never see your full payment details. Billing, cancellations, and refunds follow the store’s rules.
Analytics and crash reports
Some Apps use analytics and crash-reporting tools to help us fix bugs and improve the App. These tools may collect device, usage, and crash information.
Children
Apps made for children follow the rules that apply to them, such as COPPA and the app stores’ family policies.
Your rights
The rights described in the Website section apply to our Apps too. Email contact@valemistsoftware.com and we’ll help.
Pop MPR
Pop MPR is used by adult coaches and league volunteers to track youth football play counts. It isn't directed to children. The team and roster information you enter, including players' names and jersey numbers, is stored only on your device. We never receive it, and the App has no accounts. It leaves your device only when you choose to share or save a backup, sheet, or summary. To delete it, use Clear Everything in the App's Settings, or uninstall the App.
Terms of Service
These terms apply when you use the Site or our Apps. By using them, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use them.
Using the Site and Apps
We give you a personal, non-transferable right to use the Site and Apps for your own lawful use, subject to these terms and the app store’s terms. We can take this right away if you break these terms. Please don’t copy, resell, modify, or reverse-engineer the Apps, except where the law allows it.
Our content
The Site, the Apps, and everything in them, including designs, artwork, and trademarks, belong to Louis or our licensors.
Fair use
Don’t use the Site or Apps for anything illegal, or try to break, overload, or get unauthorized access to them.
Purchases
Paid Apps, in-app purchases, and subscriptions are sold through the app stores and follow their payment and refund rules. Prices and availability may change.
No guarantees
The Site and Apps are provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, and we don’t promise they’ll always work or be error-free.
Limits on our liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Louis isn’t liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, such as lost data, profits, or revenue, that come from using the Site or Apps.
Changes
We may change or discontinue the Site, the Apps, or these terms at any time. If you keep using them after a change, you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Alaska, USA. Any disputes will be handled in the state or federal courts in Alaska, to the extent the law allows.
